Romy Tarangul
Romy Tarangul is one of four German Olympians who posed for Germany’s September issue of Playboy Magazine. The magazine, which hit news stands August 14, 2008, featured Petra Niemann, Katharina Scholz, Nicole Reinhardt and Tarangul on four separate covers, a first for the German magazine.3
Tarangul, who is a Judo athlete, was eliminated after she was defeated by Ilse Heylen from Belgium in the women’s 52kg judo.2
